In December 2022, CPC Early Childhood Learning and Wellness Services (ECLW) launched a new cohort of CDA (Childhood Development Associate) 120-hour course to 18 family child care providers in Chinese. So far, the class has covered safety and health. Getting a CDA credential gives these child care providers an extra professional boost. A CDA credential is proof that a provider is dedicated to their craft and committed to the demands of child care.
The Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) is widely recognized in Early Childhood Education. This CDA credential is a steppingstone for our family child care providers to advance their professional career in Early Childhood Education and to earn college credit.
