Dear Parents,
If you are a parent of a child entering Kindergarten, join us on Saturday August 5 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Manny Cantor Center to prepare for this exciting transition into the next stage of your child’s life.
CPC ECLW along with our CCR&R Consortium partners will have crafts and activities for children that will model kindergarten activities, free literacy and readiness kits, coaches and speakers from the Consortium and other community agencies to provide guidance about Kindergarten, Topics discussed by coaches and speakers will include information on early literacy, social-emotional development, nutrition, and health for children transitioning into Kindergarten. Also, many community agencies will be attending to offer guidance and resources including NYC Public Library system, NYC Department of Education, Quality Stars NY, INCLUDE NYC among others.
