CPC joined our partners in the NYC Child Care Resource and Referral Consortium (CRR&R) to meet with Nora Yates, Deputy Commissioner of Child Care for the NYS Office of Children and Family Services. We discussed issues facing working parents, undocumented children, and center-based and family daycare providers.
The NYC CCR&R Consortium includes CPC, Child Development Support Corporation, Committee for Hispanic Children and Families, and Day Care Council. Last year, the Consortium referred over 5,200 families to the child Care services that meet their needs, provided over 22,000 technical assistance for child care programs, and administered 115 grants to child care programs.
