30-Hour Cohort Course (Spanish)

The 30-Hour Cohort Courses are designed to help fulfill the 30-hour training requirement for initial licensing and renewal. All topics are taught by NYS verified trainers and NYS certified early childhood educators. The 30-Hour Cohort Courses consist of the following topics:
- PITC: Responsive Care Giving and Interaction in Child Care Program
- Thematic Unit and Lesson Planning; Enhancing Learning Through Arts
- Child Abuse & Maltreatment; Shaken Baby Syndrome; and SIDS
- Gross Motor Development and Nutritious Menu Planning; Culture Matters: Supporting Children’s Social & Cultural Development
- Business Leadership, Insurance & Legal Issues
