On May 30th, CPC and our CCRC Consortium partners hosted the Annual Family Child Care Provider Appreciation Event at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. We were delighted to welcome more than 135 family child care providers and assistants to this special celebration. The event also featured six exhibitors from citywide organizations who shared valuable resources and information to support the work of family child care professionals.
We were honored to have representatives from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS), the Mayor’s Office, and the Bureau of Child Care at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) in attendance.
A special congratulations goes to two of our network-affiliated providers, Ms. Yanni Chen and Ms. Jingsha Li, who received the NYC CCRC Consortium Child Care Provider Staff Recognition Awards in recognition of their outstanding service and commitment to children and families in New York City.
On June 1st, ECLW staff joined the CPC Annual Family Day at Essex Market. It was a joy to see so many of our community members enjoying the photo booth, arts and crafts, hands-on activities, and informational resources. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with families and celebrate the strength of our community.
