Our Childcare Resource and Referral Team designed and conducted 30-hour cohort sessions in Mandarin over the past month to help providers fulfill the 30-hour requirement for initial licensing and renewal. Our classes helped providers develop engaging thematic units including hands-on art activities to increase developmental growth; how to run a more efficient child care business; how to create and conduct indoor and outdoor activities with proper supervision; how to develop well-balanced menus; responsive caregiving; and how to spot child abuse and maltreatment.
